Visit Biltmore from Mars Hill Haven

Plan an Asheville day trip, then return to mountain views, a private hot tub and room for your whole group.

Make Biltmore part of a mountain getaway: spend the day in Asheville, then return to your own log cabin in the Scenic Wolf community above Hatley Pointe. Mars Hill Haven offers four bedrooms for up to 10 guests, three king bedrooms, a bunk room, a private hot tub and a game room.

How far is Biltmore from Mars Hill Haven?

Plan on roughly 45–60 minutes to the estate entrance. A Google Maps route checked October 10, 2026 showed approximately 33 miles and 43 minutes via I-26 East. Traffic, weather and mountain-road conditions can change that estimate. Check your route before leaving, and allow additional time inside the estate for parking and reaching your reserved house-entry time.

Mars Hill Haven is in the mountains outside Mars Hill, not on Biltmore Estate. Use 1 Lodge Street, Asheville, NC 28803 for Biltmore's visitor entrance. Follow your cabin arrival guide for the mountain portion of the trip.

A relaxed Biltmore day-trip itinerary

  1. Start at the cabin. Have breakfast and coffee before heading down the mountain. Choose your ticket and entry time in advance.
  2. Make the house your anchor. Allow about 1½–2 hours for a self-paced house visit. Build the rest of your day around your reserved entry.
  3. Leave room to explore. Pick gardens, lunch or Antler Hill Village according to your ticket, the weather and your group's interests. Check current hours and dining reservations.
  4. Return to mountain time. Enjoy dinner together, a game of pool or a soak in the private hot tub. For a daytime visit, consider leaving enough daylight for the winding cabin roads.

For a less rushed stay, set aside another day for Mars Hill and the surrounding mountains. You do not need to fit every attraction into one afternoon.

Christmas at Biltmore: 2026–2027
