Hatley Pointe MTB Weekend Guide
Build a 2- or 3-day mountain bike getaway around Hatley Pointe, now open for lift-served riding. Mars Hill Haven is approximately two miles away, so the weekend can revolve around riding instead of commuting.
Friday
Arrive, Settle In and Prep
Unload, organize bikes, check current weather and bike-park operations, complete waivers and confirm that passes or rentals are booked online. Use the evening for dinner, the hot tub, game room and a sensible bedtime before riding.
Saturday
Main Ride Day
Start on terrain below your maximum ability while you learn the lift, surface conditions and trail layout. Intermediate riders can progress through Cloud Line, Ridge + Root, Sling Shot, Hatley Hollow, Savage Slip and Way Out. Advanced riders can look toward Appalachian Spine, Rock + Timber and The Cut. Dead Reckoning and Pointe Break are expert terrain.
Saturday Evening
Wash Bikes. Recover Riders.
Back at Mars Hill Haven, use the wash station and repair stand, then move on to dinner, the private hot tub, fire pit and game room. The bike rack keeps everything organized for Sunday.
Sunday
Bonus Laps or a Slower Mountain Morning
Choose another riding session, a local breakfast, a brewery stop or a scenic drive before heading home. Check Hatley Pointe’s current hours and pass options if you plan to ride again.
