About Hatley Pointe Bike Park

Hatley Pointe’s lift-served bike park opens on August 1, 2026, bringing a new summer adventure to the mountains of Mars Hill. Instead of spending your day pedaling or pushing uphill, riders can use the chairlift to return to the summit and enjoy more laps.

The park features 12 purpose-built trails, ranging from a wide, beginner-friendly green flow trail to technical black-diamond descents. Whether this is your first bike park visit or your hundredth, there is terrain designed for different experience levels.

Lift-Served Riding

Use the chairlift to reach the summit and spend your day riding downhill instead of climbing back up.

Bike and Gear Rentals

Park-ready bikes, full-face helmets and protective equipment are available to reserve on site.

Professional Lessons

Private coaching is available for first-time riders, developing riders and experienced mountain bikers.

Scenic Lift Rides

Non-riders can enjoy scenic summit lift rides and golden-hour views across the Blue Ridge Mountains.
