A compact mountain footprint keeps the experience approachable while still offering meaningful vertical.
700-Foot Vertical Drop
The vertical gives skiers and riders longer downhill runs than a small beginner hill.
Lift System
Hatley Pointe lists a quad chair, surface lifts and a rope tow serving its winter terrain.
Snowmaking
The mountain lists 100% snowmaking capability to support terrain coverage when temperatures cooperate.
Night Terrain
Lighting across much of the mountain supports evening skiing during scheduled night operations.
Choose Terrain for Your Ability
Choose Terrain for Your Ability
Beginners: Start with the beginner area, ski school terrain and green-rated runs that are open that day. If this is your first time skiing or snowboarding, a lesson is usually money better spent than trying to learn by following a friend who says, “just point them downhill.”
Intermediate skiers and riders: Blue terrain can be a good next step after you are comfortable controlling speed, turning and loading lifts.
Advanced guests: Hatley Pointe promotes challenging Southeast terrain, but trail difficulty and surface conditions can change quickly. Check the official trail map and slope report before committing to unfamiliar terrain.

Do Not Plan Around a Trail Name Alone
Open terrain depends on snowmaking, natural weather, grooming, maintenance and operations. A trail that is available one weekend may not be open the next.
